my clients thoughts about training with me...

A Wonderful client story

One of my favorite regulars (I saw her three times a week...on a good week four times) clients, came to the Yoga room where I would work all my clients because they (LAF) never used it anymore. Upon entering the room she was smiling ear to ear and holding a plate wrapped up. She said I have some good news for you and a treat. She was told by her doctor earlier that week that she lost weight (noticeable by inches in the way her clothes fit), could stop taking her BP medication and could finish the rest of the cholesterol medication she was taking and would no longer need it after that course. All she could do was thank me but she made that happen for herself, I was just a coach and cheerleader. Accountability is real and she took charge of the changes she wanted in the gym with me and outside the gym when I wasn't with her. I was so happy and proud of her, that change happened two months from working together and doing her own routine at home. She brought me homemade cake because she knew I loved dessert (couldn't eat it though because my gluten sensitivity). Change is hard and the results aren't always immediate for everyone but if you keep pushing through, you will get to the other side and it will be worth it.

She Was Encouraging...

Sydney was my trainer at a critical point of my life following the recovery after a difficult pregnancy that resulted in a loss. I wanted to focus on core strengthening so I could lose weight and conceive again. I struggled a lot at first, straining to do crunches. Sydney taught me a variety of core strengthening exercises that I still practice on my own.  She encouraged me and pushed me on days I wanted to give up. Mentally, I lacked the confidence to push myself. After just a few sessions working with Sydney, I noticed positive changes in my strength and ability to do crunches, planks and most importantly, my determination and my confidence.

She Was the Best Trainer Ever...

Every minute was intended and well worth the time. She pushed me to be better and to do better, no talk just work.  She was the best trainer I ever had. LA Fitness suffered a great loss. She is a tough trainer and gives excellent results.  professional, on time and ready to work.  I wish her Good luck in the future.

P.S. I'm still using all the exercises she taught me.  Thank you for enhancing my life and I'm a better person for it both physically and mentally.  Thank you, sydney.  (2017)
