different things work for different people. then thre are those certain things that help ground all human beings, such as breathing techniques and earthing. here i will list a few things that can help nurture your mind and soul daily and even when you experience a low.

  • take deep mindful breath breaks, five minutes at a time. breathe in (nose, slow count of 3-7 seconds) and out (mouth, slow count of 3-7 seconds)

  • Meditate, sit in a quiet place, in a comfortable position, 15 minutes at a time, you can always go longer if you feel the need or want (guided meditation is helpful for beginners, it helps keep your mind from wandering but if it does, that's okay)

  • Write a list of gratitude; in regards to yourself, to your life, to what you want for yourself

  • Say loving words to yourself, even if you don't feel that way, say it

  • Earthing "In short, earthing or grounding is putting the body in direct and uninterrupted contact with the earth. This means that skin needs to touch soil, sand, water, or a conductive surface that is in contact with the earth."   -Wellness mama

  • read a book

  • stretch

  • take a walk

  • say thank you to service workers

  • Buy yourself some flowers/a plant

  • plant some herbs/flowers

  • Do a walking meditation

  • listen to your favorite song and dance

  • make a cup of your favorite tea

  • go love on your pet

  • take a nap ("will always reset your vibrations" -Abraham Hicks)

  • pray and or read your religious book(s) (If you believe in doing this)

  • lend a helping hand

  • tell someone you love them

  • Talk to loved ones, ask them about their day

  • smile at yourself in the mirror

  • laugh

  • Do a low impact workout

  • take a bubble bath

  • light your favorite incense(s) or candle(s)

  • cook your favorite meal

  • Spend time with the ones you love
